Judging from the performance of various regions, the peak season for the double 11 stocking in the Chinese market is coming, but the continued decline in panel prices affects the brand's purchasing strategy in July, which is still relatively conservative. It is expected that in August, as various brands start stocking one after another, it is expected to bring about a limited recovery of large-size demand; The North American market is still in a demand overdraft cycle, superimposed on the impact of high inflation, and demand has not recovered; In the European market, the energy crisis combined with the impact of high inflation, the consumer demand for electronics continued to be sluggish; The peak promotion season in emerging markets is approaching, coupled with the low price of small-size panels, which will push the demand for panel stocking to recover in stages. However, the gradual release of small-size panel inventories in the second-tier market will squeeze panel makers’ shipments to a certain extent, resulting in panel shipments cooling down somewhat. On the whole, purchasing based on sales is still the main direction of the brand's panel procurement strategy, which makes the demand for panels of various sizes continue to be weak, especially the purchase demand for large-size panels is deeply sluggish. As a result, panel shipments continued to decline in July. According to research data from Sigmaintell, the global LCD TV panel shipments in July were 19.44 Mpcs, a YoY decrease of 6.6% and an MoM decrease of 6.9%; the shipment area reached 12M㎡, a YoY decrease of 12.6% and an MoM decrease of 3.3%.
