Looking at the market performance in September, on the panel supply side, on the one hand, panel makers continued to reduce production and control glass input, and capacity continued to decrease. In order to achieve the goal of stopping the decline in panel prices, the prices of some sizes of panels will usher in an inflection point, which will lead to brands stocking up at a low price; On the demand side, top Chinese brands, including Xiaomi/Hisense/TCL/Skyworth are actively stocking up for the "Double Eleven" and "Black Friday" promotional seasons. The inventory level is healthy after the inventory control process. Second-tier agents are stocking up. Because of the above reasons, most brand maintain high-level panel procurement, and the procurement strategy is significantly different from that of global brands. According to research data from Sigmaintell, the panel purchases of Chinese TOP7 brands in September were 9.5 million pieces, a significant increase of over 50% YoY. The top brand makers in Q4 still maintain aggressive purchasing strategies and are promoting brand market performance. But if the market performance in the year-end promotion season is not as good as expected, the brand may reduce purchases to avoid the operational risk caused by the increase in inventory again.
