Panel Shipments：
The MNT panel shipment in Apr’22 was about 14.3Mpcs, decreasing 12.8% MoM. Affected by the base, the year-on-year growth was more positive. Overall, the MNT market continues to be depressed, and analysis of the reasons mainly include:
1. Affected by the macroeconomic, the overall market consumption desire is relatively low, and market demand continues to decline;
2. The MNT capacity of each panel manufacturers has not been adjusted significantly, and the price of the panel has also continued to decline, and the pressure of shipment of each panel manufacturers has continued to increase;
3. The demand of the main terminal brand continues to decline, and their inventory continues to rise, and the main customers have lowered purchasing volume in the second quarter.
Therefore, the MNT panel shipments should be greater than the actual terminal demand during this period of time. At the same time, the panel manufacturers’ inventory continued to go high risk, that also intensified the panel market price war. The pressure of MNT panel shipment is expected to increase further in May, and it is expected that the shipment will be 13.6M, with a drop of 4.7% MoM.
